Steve leads BWK’s M&A Tax practice, bringing 20+ years of dedicated experience in M&A tax analysis, transaction structuring, negotiation support, and post‑close tax planning. Before joining BWK, Steve held positions at Grant Thornton and CBIZ Mayer Hoffman McCann.

He advises on corporate and partnership structures, tax compliance, planning, and exit strategy for closely held and private equity–backed businesses. Steve has deep industry experience in retail, manufacturing, distribution, technology, and professional services.

Steve holds a BS in Accounting with a minor in Economics from Augsburg University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Minnesota.
